From now on you will find cut-e ScienceBlog at http://scienceblog.cut-e.com/. There we also introduce the new ScienceBlog concept: Inspired by cut-e to boost individual and corporate performance. Let us outline what this means.
What is the Scienceblog - Inspired by cut-e to boost individual and corporate performance?
It is a blog where we post findings from research on factors that boost individual and corporate performance. Factors that impact health and well-being are important, of course, so in that sense the new cut-e Scienceblog will keep up what you already know from the old cut-e ScienceBlog. But the new blog will go beyond that and present research findings on questions like:
- What does good assessment look like and how can it benefit organisations as well as candidates?
- How can individuals grow professionally and personally?
- Based on this insight, how can we plan careers so that candidates can make best use of their strengths and make use of their potential and so that organisations get the best possible outcomes?
Within cut-e, we read a lot of articles and follow the media to stay abreast the latest research findings. Whenever we come across interesting pieces of research we will share them. Of course within cut-e we also conduct a lot of studies, many of them in collaboration with universities. Some of these studies we will also share on the blog.
Why is there a relaunch of the blog?
We had received a lot of positive feedback for the old blog, readers found it interesting and helpful. However, we also felt that the focus was a bit too narrow and we wanted to share more findings from the area of research we are experts in: the area of assessment. Assessment is one building block of individual and organizational development. Of course assessment will only lead to enhanced individual and organizational performance if it is the basis for good decision making and personal and corporate development. This in turn will work better if individuals are healthy and well.
Therefore health and well-being, assessment, personal and professional development go hand in hand when we want to boost individual and corporate performance.
What are the topics that we will report on?
We will write articles on assessment, cognitive psychology, motivational psychology, and Positive Psychology. From these areas, we will pick research findings on factors that boost individual and corporate performance.

The target audience of cut-e Scienceblog are people who work in HR, but also anyone who is interested in the area of assessment, cognitive psychology, motivational psychology, and Positive Psychology.
